In the previous padmadǎ we met almost all the forms of the possessive adjective and the last one, namely tumaro, appears here. It is useful to recap them as follows:

personal pronoun

possessive adjective

singular

plural

singular

plural

1st

me, B: man

amen, B: amen

mo, miro

amaro

2nd

tu, B: tut

tumen, B: tumen

to, tiro

tumaro

3rd masc.

ov, B: les

on, B: len

lesqo

lenqo

3rd fem.

oj, B: la

laqo

The possessive adjectives of the two first persons in the singular have a plain (short) and an emphatic (long form). Both may be used before the noun but only the emphatic form may follow it:
mi sasuj (plain), miri sasuj (emphatic), i sasuj miri (more emphatic),
te naja (plain), tire naja (emphatic), o naja tire (more emphatic). Other possessive adjectives may stay unchanged in both locations.
Note that possessives are as a rule less used than in most other languages and often replaced by a simple article, since the context indicates often the possession.
In addition to the forms of 3rd person, which refer to a person or a mammal (rarely a thing or an idea) which IS NOT the subject of the clause, Rromani has a personal pronoun (himself, herself, themselves – accordingly only in B-ćham, linkable with all postpositions) and a possessive adjective referring to the subject of the clause (his own, her own, their own)

Names of trees: the suffix -lin, -elin or simply -in is added to the names of fruits to denote the tree which produces them. In areas where the majority language doesn't distinguish the name of the tree from the name of the fruit (mainly Slavic languages), the local Rromani vernacular use the name of the fruit to denote its tree.
